Your point is? I have nothing against people belonging to whatever religious organization they want or donating whatever they wish. I just don't want religion in my life personally.

After reading most of the comments I have to say that I am soooooo glad I am not religious! I don't profess to have answers and I'm not sure how true the Bible is and I don't believe anyone on this earth has the answers. I am concerned about this country which is very much a part of the here and now. I would like to do all I can to insure that my children and grand children have the opportunity to enjoy the blessings of freedom as I have enjoyed in my lifetime. I like Mr Romney because I believe he has inner strength, is highly accomplished in areas I feel are important, his life would prove he has no problem with commitment and he is stable...just a few of his qualities. Why you be so mean???

I have found the conversation going on here quite interesting....I'm not religious and I don't usually engage in conversation regarding religion because I don't really care how people practice their religion or not. But I don't understand why people are critical of the Mormon religion since it may be practiced in a different way but they seem to hold the same values. Last time I checked there weren't any Mormons trying to hurt anyone. Apparently many of them are doing something right as they seem to have pretty good statistics regarding marriage and family, well educated statistically(I checked), good jobs and practice a healthy lifestyle. I don't get it!

My comment about sounding hateful was an observation not an accusation! Not all "Christians" sound that way....I appreciate the efforts of those I have come in contact with who pray for me and seem concerned for others and where they might end up in the hereafter. But I have seen that hateful attitude frequently. It seems to be coming from a place of frustration that the person or persons they are conversing with don't agree with them. But I can see that what you are saying is probably the reason. If one feels that they are warning someone then that would probably intensify ones approach. Thank you for your comment

Exactly!!! I don't know how true the Bible is. What one believes does not change what is true...since no one can prove anything I don't claim to know anything so to me hell sounds insane. If there is a hell I'm sure I'm at risk....I'll take my chances!
