Israel keeps dealing with Gaza in HALF measures. They should buy or build MOABs and drop one every time there's a rocket or mortar attack from Gaza. MOAB is designed to destroy bunkers and tunnels like HAMAS uses to store their missiles and munitions. The shock and awe from the massive blast would also chill HAMAS and the Gazan people.HAMAS would do everything to keep its sects from launching attacks. I believe it would only take one or two MOABs to stop the attacks from Gaza permanently.Plus,use of MOAB doesn't risk any Israeli soldiers or costly armored vehicles.
It's time Israel did the job right.
Israel — as its friends and enemies never forget — is a “one-bomb country.” One nuclear weapon is all it would take to wipe out a nation whose territory is smaller than Djibouti, with a population not as large as that of Burundi — fewer than 8 million people, 20 percent of them Arabs who are enjoying rights denied to Arabs (not to mention non-Arab minorities) elsewhere in the Middle East.
Israel is surrounded by Muslim-majority states with 60 times its population and 650 times its territory. Most of those states refuse even to recognize Israel. Some go further....
This is how terrorists are created. Unfortunately those chanting for Israel to continue to bomb Gaza don't understand this. Both groups of people enact brutal attacks on one another. They both believe they are fighting in defence of their own. This conflict will never so long as both sides respond to eachothers attacks with more violence.
