Please note;the trolls constant posting of nonsense is an ATTACK on Townhall,a denial-of-service type of attack. they intend to clog up the comments with their spam,to drive legit posters away. When you reply to their crapp, you HELP them with their attack. is that what you want?

This forum's main purpose is to provide a means of expression and or outrage at atrocities or events that occur and that's all it is. It accomplishes nothing. It is a means to no end. It will change no ones mind or persuade any one to believe anything other than what they already believe. Nothing posted to any of these forums is of any consequence, unless you speak out in a negative way concerning the current administration in such a way that you may be targeted as a threat to them or even as a terrorist. If you happen to agree with me, fine. If you don't, fine. Just continue posting and ignore the people that believe that what they say really matters, really matters. It doesn't matter.

When 20 kindergartners and first-graders and six adults are senselessly slaughtered at a small town elementary school by a heavily armed lunatic, it’s normal to want to do something — anything — to help make certain such a horrific event never happens again.

But “never again” has proven a very difficult, if not impossible, standard to achieve.

Pass any number of new laws — the problem will remain that Adam Lanza, and other killers like him, don’t obey such laws.

We might force a background check...
