one reason may be that Jews(like the rest of us) send their kids to schools that have been taken over by the "progressives" who use education to indoctrinate children in socialism from an early age. the Fabian Society began working to get control of education in the early 1900's,in order to push socialism. It appears they've been wildly successful. We are now seeing the effects of that, all across our societies.

In 1905 Upton Sinclair founded the Intercollegiate Socialist Society with a stated goal of permeating every segment of education with the "Gospel of St Marx." Over a century later, it appears they are succeeding very well. In the mid 50's Nikita Khrushchev told us our grandchildren would be living under Communism. Now that the Democrat party has embraced Communists (in the top levels of the administration) and Muslims (in the top levels of the administration), how can 70% of Jewish people still believe that we Christians are the big threat? Feeding the alligators hoping to be eaten last?

I thought schools came about so that everyone had an equal shot at education and not to push socialsim. Public schooling is a progressive idea only to those elite rich that can afford private schooling and don't care about that for their workers and servants. I never felt indoctrinated; in fact we were taught that Communism and it dictators were very evil. We were scared to death of bombs from China and Russsia during the cold war. I was taught so much that has served me well, and socialism had nothing to do with. To hear tell, some people are trying to make it sound like the whole object was to create Communists. Geez, McCarthy still lives.

Public education was the idea of some of the founders of the United States. It was not a progressive or socialist idea. Those founders would be appalled at what has become of public education.

Yes it was an idea of the American founders, especially Thomas Jefferson. BUt the interesting thing is that public education was first practiced in ancient Israel. The priestly class of the tribe of Levi, known as cohanim, was required to provide instruction to all children.

Public education was an ideal to teach all children the basics; liberals/progressives/ commuists took advantage of the educational system as well as the media, entertainment and untions to propagandize the masses. They have been working at it more than a hundred years while the masses worked away unaware of the danger in their midst.

Decades ago, the sociographer Milton Himmelfarb coined the aphorism that "American Jews earn like Episcopalians and vote like Puerto Ricans." And his words ring as true today as ever. Surveys show that roughly 70 percent of American Jews intend to cast their ballots for President Barack Obama's reelection next month.

Himmelfarb's quip indicated that American Jews abjure their economic interests in favor of their liberal values. Certainly it is true that for American Jews to vote for Obama next month they must act against their economic interests.

Obama's economic policies have taken a huge toll on the economic...
