John, Your last sentence says it all. The government does not really want people to quit smoking. They will lose their revenue if no one smokes. They want to keep on increasing tax on cigarettes and collect more revenue. Isn't it ironical that more and more states are allowing people to enjoy the illegal substance "pot" under the name of medical marijuana? Pot causes more harm to the person consuming it and also the havoc caused by the altered mind to other people.

Excellent point about the fuel tax we all are paying, which was supposed to be for maintenance of roads and bridges. The government with big appetite, obviously, must be using them up for entitlement programs. No lame stream media would dare to challenge Obummer on this.
