Circuit Court judges in Illinois, and there are a lot of them, get 80% of their salary for life after 20 on the bench and full medical coverage, too. And their salary is over $150,000! And, believe me, they don't do much for the 20 years, and most of them do it incompetently. And that nothing compared to school administrators.

Ya but Jay these people have a college degree! ! The college professors programed their feeble brain and told them to go out into the world and make their mark,They never told them that money comes as a by product of producing and doesn't grow on trees. No mater how smart you are Just being educated just doesn't quite cut it.

This is one of those situations where we all should use the word SCHOOLED, not EDUCATED.

Governor Pat Quinn rammed through the largest tax hikes in Illinois history last year. On January 13, 2011, Governor Pat Quinn signed off on a 67% hike in personal income taxes and a 46% hike in corporate taxes.

The result is not what the governor thought. Businesses have fled, more have threatened to leave and Quinn responded with sweeteners. Moreover, Illinois pension plans are still the worst funded in the nation, and the state is still struggling to pay bills.
