Al, Tipper and the Myth of a 'Good Divorce'

Contrary to an earlier comment, the observed increase in divorce cannot primarily be due to increased longevity of men and women. After all, few of the divorces are among those married as long as the Gores. The great majority of marriages that last over 30 years will last until one is deceased. I don't know whether personal matters or financial ones are key to the Gore split, but it certainly is intriguing that as Anthropogenic Global Warming is drawing more and more fire, and lawsuits against its proponents are discussed, the notorious proponent of AGW is divorcing.
