David Gregory's Slobbering Obama Interview

Do you know how many times Limbaugh has criticized an Obama i'view with the SAME nonsense? It's always the same -- whomever the interviewer is, whether it's 60 minutes, late-night show, etc.... He's always asking why interviewers don't ask what he considers to be "tough" questions, but are really loaded questions designed to make Obama look bad. Limbaugh wanted to know why during the debates, Romney didn't call him out for being a liar about -- well, almost everything. Romney to his credit, didn't do that. Talk about simplistic superficiality! Your belief that press interviews should be adversarial proceedings just shows your own inability to at least try to think objectively.

They are adversarial...when it's a republican being interviewed.

The amusingly predictable aspect of your "simplistic superficial" remarks, Jaxxie, is that they have NO CONTENT. They're just the usual resentful, angry sophomore dismissal of a view you find threatening, completely ignoring the reasonable suggestion (or it WAS a reasonable suggestion when media people were professionals) that an interview with a president who is as controversial as he is, should be at least balanced, if not challenging. The problem with you "liberals" is that you don't appear to understand the concept of "balance". Anymore than you appear to recognize an 'in-your-face' lie. Hell. you people just emote on anything that challenges your reality, producing the same squall of fury that is produced by a baby losing the nipple.

You did not answer my question.
NBC's David Gregory interviewed President Barack Obama on "Meet the Press" Sunday, and a conversation ensued that would have been more fitting for a show called "The President Meets One of His Many Mainstream Media Enablers."

Let's take a look at just some of the exchanges and fantasize how different the nation's political and electoral climate might be if the liberal press were doing its job as watchdog instead of taking sides.

Obama said, "We're seeing signs of recovery ... in employment numbers improving."

Might Gregory have asked Obama how he can continue to put an unrealistically positive spin on such persistently dismal numbers?...
