It will be impossible to get any control of the excessive spending by the Congress until we get rid of the insane nonsense of current services base line budgeting. The idea that last years spending constitutes a floor for this years spending plus an automatic annual increase is a politicians wet dream. Every year they get more to spend without having to vote for it, it's all built into the system. For public consumption they engage in phony debates over slight decreases in the rate of spending increase but overall the spending always goes up.
Reagan spent us into debt? Federal revenues doubled under Reagan but the Democrat controlled Congress reneged on promised spending cuts.

And more recently in Argentina and Zimbabwe.
The Clinton balanced budget is a liberal myth and the only jobs created by any government are increases in the size of the bureaucracy.
The American Red Cross and the British Consul both pulled out of Benghazi just prior to the attack due to the unsettled and dangerous atmosphere there and Panetta says they couldn't do anything because they lacked intelligence with regard to the risks in the area. A sixteen man security team was also withdrawn from the area with no reason given and no one seems to know who ordered them out.

If you allow your country to be flooded by Third World people you evolve into a Third World country. In the past immigrants were assimulated into the body politic and happily became Americans in a generation or so. This no longer occurrs, hence our 'glorious mosaic' or if you prefer our 'salad bowl'.

The Constitution did not allow anything of the sort. Our problems stem from the fact that the Left hates the constraints imposed upon them by the Constitution and do everything that they can to evade, avoid, or to nullify them. Obama has stated openly that he feels the Constitution is too negative and speaks to the things that government cannot do rather than outlining a list of positive actions that the government can take. This was not an error on the part of the founders.

It's obvious that you learned your U.S. History from Howard Zinn.
They have since moved to Canada and the Brach candy company, long a Chicago concern, moved to Mexico.
When the Senate had a chance to rein in subsidies and tax breaks for Big Sugar last year the effort failed thanks to votes by Senator Rubio and both of Georgia's supposedly conservative Senators.
What did I just say? "Feinstein Gun Control Bill Would Exempt Government Officials.".
