You Aren't Bipolar, You're Just a Jerk!

Everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion. The countless hours of research and investigation I'm sure Mr. Adams put into his article has my respect. I am one of those "jerks" as Mr. Adams refers to us. I can assure you that my mental illness is not fashonable and remains an unfortunate and unspeakable emabarrassment to me. It is not something I tell anyone outside of my family. I am in "recovery" now, which means I am taking the right steps in my life medically and psychologically to remain a functional part of society.
