America has come a long way since the first Thanksgiving Day, but as I remember it from living on this earth for over 70 years, they did have religious freedom, which is something the far-left atheists (which was not very common in those days) have thought it their duty to try and destroy the religious freedom we have had in America. I guess what disturbs me the most is the fervor to protect the Muslim religion and to try and destroy the Christians. We will pay a big price, if we allow this to continue and there will be many of us imprisoned or worse.

Good for Brit Hume for standing up to his beliefs. I am disappointed that more don't do the same. Jesus is my Savior, too, and He does great things for those who believe in Him. The most important is eternal life some day when I die. This great nation of America is suffering because of the leadership from President Obama to congress in there protecting the wrong and not standing up for right. This nation was founded on Christian beliefs and our leaders are trying to take it away from us. We need more people like Mr. Hume to speak up and take a stand for right and for Jesus.

He may have endorsed McCain (I question McCain), but he is a very good Senator for South Dakota. He is not a liberal and he will walk the walk and talk the talk, and I believe in him
