Great article Dr. Sowell! The thing I hate the worst about these neurotics on the left is that when we see the consequences that spring from their ideas and policies, they can claim with a straight face that it is actually the Republicans who are at fault. But these left-wing kooks are where they are because enough low information American voters have put them there. The Republicans have got to realize that you are never going to pacify ignorance. Quit trying to appease these.people because no matter what you do to reach out to them It will never be enough You better start standing strong for what is right or we're going to go down with the rest of these idiots.

Isn't the height of presumption astounding with these democrats? These people have trained countless minds to believe that by cutting a rich person's taxes by the same percentage as a middle or lower income person, that is tantamount to giving to the rich and taking from the poor. Now how is that? That's where their presumption comes in. They presume that the money they are allowing the rich person to keep actually belongs to them and not to the person. Any amount above what the government feels entitled to take (in taxes) is considered to be a gift given to the individual. The reason I think the term "Trickle-down" has worked so well over the years is because it fits very well alongside the other words and phrases found in the dictionary of demagoguery.
