We cannot even get the budget to just go sideways for a year, let alone get real cuts. We certainly won't get those cuts with Obama as President. I wish we could.

Well, if we can't, then don't give him the deal on tax cuts. What are they worried about? Do they think the media will like them after they give in on tax cuts with no spending cuts? That's hardly likely. Tell Americans what the deal is. If Obama doesn't take it, and Americans blame the GOP for not raising taxes and don't blame Obama for not cutting spending, then that's the way the cookie and the economy will crumble. True fiscal conservatives will have to do what we can for ourselves to shelter out money from taxes and spend our money conservatively because we're going to need a stash going forward. The Obama-ites will be looking for a stash from government but it won't be there for them in the end.

Hannity to Coulter: "You sound like Obama." Fightin' words:

SH: So are you saying that, for PR purposes, that they should give in to Obama on the tax rate?
AC: Not exactly, I--Well, yeah, I guess I am.
SH: You're saying capitulate to Obama? We don't have a revenue problem, Ann.
AC: We lost the election, Sean.

Hannity seems genuinely flummoxed by Coulter's capitulatory attitude, but does she have a point?  Recent polling has been gruesome...
