Europe's Lack Of Discipline

I would just like to point out that the UK is not in the Euro. Also I think the fact that the German government bailed out the Greek government is a sign of the spirit that you say doesn't exist. If you travel and go to Europe, which it seems you might not have done recently I think you will find people who are happy and content to live in a place where there are fewer borders and less artificial differences. They may speak different languages, but at least they respect each other and feel comfortable with each their neighbours, which cannot be said of the US and its Mexican neighbours.
