An impressive call for moral recognition of humanity’s tendency to do evil when such evil works to an individual’s or group of individual’s benefit. Such human tendency for evil is grossly amplified when man uses the legal monopoly of force (government) to compel others to submit to his will. Man without Godly inspired morality is a tyrant! The problem with this most recent proposal to reduce federal spending is the same as all prior proposals--under the current system of federal supremacy there is no way to compel federal officials to reduce their share of other people's money! We the people must rely upon the good faith and intentions of "our" (read Wall Street and K-Street) elected officals! If we the people of the sovereign states could exercise our right to nullify unconstitutional or abusive federal acts then we could force "our" federal agents to execise their powers to benefit the people of America vs. benefiting themselves, Wall Street, K-Street, and the social welfare establishment. The histroy of conservative victories is that we waste our time merely holding our ground vs. realizing a radical change that will remove the political status quo. We end up becoming liberalism's "useful fools." See "Will Tea Party Conservatives Become Liberalism's Useful Fools?" www.kennedytwins.com
The point is that who ever gets to pronounce what the constitution means is the one with sovereign authority--authority to use the police/military force of government to compel submission to their view of a better, fairer society! I vote to end the unconstitutional era of federal supremacy and return power to we the people of the sovereign states. See "Nullification: Why and How" www.kennedytwins.com

What if we had a way to nullify unconstitutional acts of the federal government? What if we replaced federal supremacy with local self-government and real states rights? Or we could just keep hoping that some day we will elect enought good conservatives that the federal government will once again honor the rights reserved to we the people of the sovereign states--of course that has not happened for the last 100 years!!! All the more reason to take power away from the ruling elite in Washington, DC and return power to we the people of the once sovereign states. www.kennedytwins.com

This well researched and written article merely demonstrates the complete insanity of allowing the ruling elite in Washingttn, DC to make all social, economic and political decisions. We the people of once sovereignn states have allowed ourselves to become the subjects of a supreme federal government. The solution "Nullifcation: Why and How" www.kennedytwins.com
Do you really think a big, centralized, power hungry federal government with a ruling elite in Washington, DC will be controlled by a balance budget ammendment? Remember James Madison's warning: "Where there is power, and an interest to use it, wrong will be done." Break the power of the ruling elite in Washington, DC by passing an amendment acknowledging the right of we the people of the sovereign state to nullify unconstitutional or onerous federal acts!
