The president doesn't care one bit about who pays the taxes he cares about what his backers think. To often those who don't have instead of working harder to pull themselves out of poverty sit back and complain about those that have while taking as much government stuff as they can. That was the Democrat plan in the first place. No one questions the fact that all of a sudden the Democrats went from supporting segregation to civil rights within a year or so. Somehow they see the Republicans as the party of segregation when they weren't. Since the Democrats couldn't support segregation anymore they changed tactics. They came up with the war on poverty and started handing out money to the poor blacks to get them dependent on handouts.
