in this country, the way to get rid of someone you perceive as statist is to vote them out. So have at it. Romney's not a statist in your mind? Look at most of his old positions (RomneyCare, etc.) and some of his new ones. No matter which Romney you look at, the man with his old positions or the man with his new positions, you could make a case for statism. He's your candidate. Enjoy.
