Obama Lunch Rules

From the article: "When we send our kids to school, we expect that they won’t be eating the kind of fatty, salty, sugary foods that we try to keep them from eating at home." Let us not forget that for a long, long time that the so-called "Food pyramid" charts have already been heavily in favor of grains more than any other type of food...The very same high-starch kind of foods that may be a factor in today's "obesity problem" perhaps? Food that are high in starch are usually cheaper to buy & more filling than most other kinds of foods, but they also go to fat very quickly.
Oh, I think they were aware of how bad it could get...They relied on the People to keep government on the straight & narrow. In that respect, we've failed. But the sleeping giant is awakening & true remedy is on the way, for restoring Constitutional order over those who obligate themselves to an Oath of Office under Public Trust. Accountability is coming...I only wonder if it's coming in time to prevent even a temporary anarchy.
I hold no delusion that Holder will comply with a court order...After all, his "boss" in the White House defied the Supreme Court by virtually ignoring the SCOTUS court order to revoke the ban over off-shore oil drilling. I fully expect that further action to be taken to haul his @$$ into court, under a Grand Jury (the Due Process of Law) to answer the charges will be the only way to get Holder (& his "boss") held accountable to anything they've done. The sooner, the better, for ALL of America...
And yet, when it comes to the military, the prevailing thought was to continue using outdated equipment until it literally breaks down into uselessness...When I was in the Navy during the latter half of the 1980's (during "Daddy" Bush's reign), we still used computer mainframes that became obsolete by the early 1960's. Admittedly, MOST of the equipment was up-to-date, but there were always a few "dinosaurs" in active use. As big as the military budget was, even in the 80's, I wondered where the money was going if it wasn't being used to update equipment. Even now as Obama is gutting the military in both principle, operations & budget, I wonder even MORE NOW where that money is going.
It seems you took the words right out of Wendell Phillips' mouth: "Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty; power is ever stealing from the many to the few." We must ALWAYS be watchful...regardless of times being good or bad. History has proven that every time the People stop watching, corruption seeps in & CAUSES good times to go bad.

Constitutionalist: What’s in a Name?

As far as the Constitution goes, you're right in that the Founding Fathers debated, wrote & ratified it based upon the Laws of Nature...Which is an extension of the phrases in the Declaration of Independence that refer to "Laws of Nature." It matters not one bit whether you believe in "intelligent design" or any kind of "Creator" as they have been mentioned, because the Laws of Nature are real, they are evident & they govern over everything in the universe...The only reason that this universe (& us!) even exists is because of the Laws of Nature & how they manifest & define reality. Denial of a "Creator" is a vastly different idea than denying reality...Yet Liberals think they're the same thing and THAT'S stupidity.

The trick is that, people like Reid who act upon the "guilt until proven innocent" tactic works, are merely trying to extend the same tactics that Hitler & Stalin used...Just as you pointed out. What Reid refuses to acknowledge is that those are the same kind of tactics that caused Hitler's downfall, Caused Stalin to fail & caused those regimes to collapse. In short, Reid clings to tactics & ideals that have ALWAYS been historically doomed to failure & merely repeats the mistakes of history...It's obvious that Reid has learned NOTHING.

...Or maybe Mitt will release his tax records (even though he's not been lawfully obligated to do so) if Obama will release his sealed records (that carry the burden of lawful eligibility to be released). I'd bet that would make both Reid & Obama shut up about Mitt's taxes.

Actually the quote is "Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty; power is ever stealing from the many to the few" & was spoken by Wendell Phillips, a lawyer & political activist advocating for the Abolition movement (not one of the Founding Fathers), but otherwise you got the sentiments right.
