"Put a Ring On It"

Well after being married for 17 years now I cant help but wonder what happened. All of my peers are divorced at least once, and they are suprised that I have yet to divorce. Maybe it is a personal grudge against my childhood of divorce and warring parents.

My wife and I married when I was in Tech School for the USAF. Did it Justice of the Peace with WalMart rings. Went out for pizza and back to a dump of a hotel for our honeymoon of 2 days out side the Base. 10 years later I let her have a wedding in a Church and we did it frugal since we had 3 children by then.
