Call me old fashioned but I don't think it's appropriate to celebrate anyone's sexuality whether gay or straight. He may not have been celebrating but the MSM was. I feel he had to make a statement since 42 is in the theaters but to equate what he did to what Jackie Robinson did is an insult to his legacy. I get plenty disgusted with LGBT being celebrated everywhere in the media in an obvious attempt to change the cultural landscape of America.

Because they relish rubbing our faces in it for purely political purposes. Why not celebrate Clinton's philandering ways? Wasn't he expressing his personal sexual behavior too? Adultery, however doesn't have near the political oomph as homosexuality in our culture. The MSM knows this better than anyone and are only too happy to use this as a weapon against social conservatives.

The title of this article goes to show how much the Left has hijacked the word immigrant. An immigrant used to refer to someone who had followed the legal path to citizenship. The word alien used to refer to illegals. Illegal and immigrant should never be used in the same sentence. Hijacking words like immigrant and marriage is a tactic used by the Left to undermine the societal foundations of citizenship and family so that any threats to the power of the State will be eliminated.

The MSM will never let go of the narrative that Obama as the first black president was a huge success despite all the evidence to the contrary. Whenever something becomes politicized the question is always " How does this help or hurt Obama?" instead of how will this help or hurt our nation? I'm not opposed to immigration and being the hospitable person that I am I welcome everyone. But I'm also practical and understand we can't be Ellis Island anymore not with the modern welfare state in place. Entitlements are breaking us now and we can't afford any more massive waves of immigration

What values you ask? Freedom, the rule of law enforced with comparatively little corruption. a country not ruled by drug cartels. We also have a significantly large portion of people who are not dependent on government and have no desire to be.

Look at where these people come from. Where is one shining example of a free market constitutional republic to the south of us? How can we expect them to embrace any values that are different than what they've previously known? Yet we allow corrupt power hungry politicians or gullible ones to give our country away.
