Why This Obsession With Iran?

The only way to make any sense of all this is to apply the Biblical end to it. We know somewhere in the future all the nations will come against Israel. We know that Damascus will be destroyed. What will the Syrians do to have that to happen? The Russians and Chinese are backing Persia and the Syrians. No one remembers that we are fighting WW 4 and have been since 1979 when the Persians grabbed our embassy. The whole world is headed towards 1 world government. We will have to see how it all plays out, but it is coming. We should be and have to be totally concerned about the Persians going nuke. They hate us for not what we ever did or didn't do to them but for who we are.

It's easy to predict the future, because it can't be disproved. But it's past time to grow up into a mature Christian, and stop reading prophecy like it hasn't already been fulfilled, which it has. Study real history before you comment about an imaginary future.

John, you can study history all you like, but you will not find the Third World War and the Fourth World War in it. But you will find these wars in divine prophecy. Not all of the prophecies have been fulfilled. The Return of Christ,. for example, has been foretold, and devout Christians believe that he will, but it has yet to occur.

Right, Louie. Let's go start a war to see if the return can be sped up. The only thing you people will accomplished is to get a lot of people killed for not only stupid reasons but evil reasons as well.

James437...

It is "Islam".. a false belief system posing as religion.. that is the problem.

nonsense!! islam existed long before the new world order control freaks started using islamophobia to scare us into giving up our rights for the false promise of security.
"Iran is not seeking to have the atomic bomb, possession of which is pointless, dangerous and is a great sin from an intellectual and a religious point of view."

Thus did supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei declare in February that Iran's possession of atomic weapons would be a mortal sin against Allah.

It is also the unanimous judgment of the U.S. intelligence community, declared in 2007 and affirmed in 2011, that Iran has abandoned any program to build nuclear weapons.

Is the Ayatollah lying? Is the entire U.S. intel community wrong?
