When the NAACP turned their backs on their roots in the Southern Christian Leadership Conference and went the way of the world against GOD, then you have what you have today. So called Reverends like Al and Jesse, when was the last time you heard them preach the gospel? Now further going the way of the world and embracing homosexuality as a cause. How do you equate the Black People who fought and died to gain their rights with the evil of homosexuality. Does anyone for a moment think that Martin Luther King would have embraced homosexuality? Americans we have to fight this evil that wants to take over our country. There is no staying away from it, the time is here, either you are on GOD's side or the world's side.

If bigotry had not killed MLK 44 years ago he would be front and center marching for marriage equality today. All bigotry must be fought.

On Saturday, May 19, the NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) officially came out and declared their support for same-sex marriage. According to USA TODAY, the organization saw the issue has comparable to civil rights.

Ironically, this stance fails to comply with a large sector of the African-American population. Roughly 62% of blacks are against same-sex marriage, according to a Pew Research poll conducted in October 2011. This is not surprising.
