Clarence Darrow Puts the State on Trial

This is a joke, right? Darrow was the exemplar of everything wrong with defense lawyers - a preening self-aggrandizer who cared not a whit for the real lives or rights of the people he defended (never mind their victims), treating them as useful tools for the promotion of a hard-left materialist ideology. OF COURSE he attacked "the state" (the democratic, capitalism-friendly US state) instead of defending his clients. Such tactics raised his profile, confused the issues, and pushed his agenda onto front pages. Libertarians, if you're swayed by this nonsense, read what Darrow had to say about free will, and whether it exists of not, which I gather is of some importance to your world view.
"Let's talk about Ronald Wilson Reagan, China and U.S satellite launches." Oh, do let's. Can we? Can we? That would be ever so much nicer than actually talking about the article above that most people would naturally assume you should have read and actually had something to say about before you posted A COMMENT ON IT. Olive - the Troll who had nothing whatsoever to say about Christmas.
A posthumous bash at Ronald Reagan - and a total non sequitur to boot. Thanks, Olive, for reminding us what the Spirit of Christmas truly means! To liberals.
