In response to:

The Judgment of Future Generations

Those who fail to learn the lessons of history are destined to repeat them. Throughout human history there is not one, NOT ONE single culture that endured long while endorsing homosexual marriage as normal, NOT ONE. Only fools would think homosexual marriage will produce future generations. While I would not want to persecute homosexuals, endorsing their lifestyle is abominable, and legitimizing it on the same level as holy matrimony is beyond abominable.

You seem to be saying that a number of ancient cultures endorsed homosexual marriage. Yes, there were some, for sure, but remember that NO ancient culture has survived, including those that did NOT endorse gay marriage.

Most Native American tribes seem to have not problem with homosexual couples, but we all know the demise of their culture had nothing to do with that.

The native Americans were not exactly an advanced civilization - remaining in the stone age technologically and bronze age socially. Each culture which historically accepted condoned homosexual unions as equal to marriage was one which remained at the tribal level, while the primary cultures, those still recognized as the basis for modern civilization, were busily establishing their empires. As such, homosexuality is a sign of either a civilization in decline or a backwards society - there is nothing productive about it, and nothing of any value for the society which embraces / endorses it. Attempting to equate homosexual unions with a valuable institution like traditional marriage is nothing but foolishness.

Prove that most Native American tribes didn't have a problem with homosexual couples. I'd like to know how and where this "fact" was recorded in history.
