More proof that the loony left wing liberals are trying to corrupt the minds of our children. This individual is pushing it to the extreme and the mindless beauracrats of the left are supporting his decision. I wonder how he would feel if he was overseas and tried this, in most nations he would be removed immidately and barred from further teaching positions. They fully realize that their freedoms are protected by the military not threatened. This child and parent were supporting those who stand in the breach against our enemies that would destroy us given the chance. As a retired USAF military members I would visit this vile POS and explain the pride we hold for our servie to our nation and to the freedoms of ALL Americans.

James, let me know when you plan on going, I will put on my Viet Nam fatigues (still covered in RVN dirt and blood) and meet you there! Together maybe we can persuade "Num-Nuts" the correctness of the American Soldier and what he/she stands for!

Be careful guys if you do this, you might be called a terrorist because your uniform might hurt someone's sensitivities!!! Biggest bunch of stupidity I have ever heard. Heck, we took our cap guns, slingshots, bows and arrows to school, and no one I went to school with became a deranged killer, but did serve honorably in all branches of the service after high school. OMG Where/what/when will the next thing be???Parents screen what your child is being taught. In Texas, they are teaching Islam. In Colorado, they put "under Allah" in the Pledge of Alligience instead of "under God" It is getting bad out there.

Oops! Meant to add that several of them did become Democrats, but we maintained our friendship because we were taught to respect each other's differences. We were also taught to respect our elders, those in charge, our flag and above all our Military who fought for our freedom.

A Michigan elementary school is defending its decision to confiscate a third-graders batch of homemade cupcakes because the birthday treats were decorated with plastic green Army soldiers.

Casey Fountain tells me that the principal of his son's elementary school called the cupcakes "insensitive" -- in light of the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut.

"It disgusted me," he said. "It's vile they lump true American heroes with psychopathic killers."

Fountain's wife made a batch of 30 chocolate cupcakes for their son Hunter's classmates at Schall Elementary School in the town of Caro. The 9-year-old helped decorate the treats with...
