Obviously, this will be a close race. If Brown wins, there will be so many demorat challenges (with newly 'discovered' dead voters and absentee ballots (I bet Ted Kennedy will vote!)) that he won't be seated for months. It worked for Frankass! It will only drive the demorats to complete their agenda at a quicker pace while Repubs celebrate their apparent victory. Hell Care, Cap & Tax, Stimupork II can't be stopped and will then move through more quickly!

What Happened to Global Warming?

James2992 Wrote: Oct 13, 2009 10:54 AM
You've got it all wrong. The earth has not warmed over the past 11 years due to the successful efforts (like Kyoto)to combat carbon dioxide emissions (Even the U.S. has reduced emissions as a result of international pressure). To say we have won a victory is short-sided. We have only succeeded in temporarily neutralizig the enemy's charge. We need to redouble our efforts to continue to reduce CO2 to keep this going. To slip back to the past will be a mistake and we will squander all the strides we have obtained. Cap & Trade is needed more now than ever!.

I don't understand the surprise feigned by so many that BHO won this award. As a lifelong grifter, never having held a real job where pay is based on performance-pocketing a cool $1 Million of someone else's money for doing nothing is a feat for which he is more qualified than most. I, for one, am not shocked. Aren't all Liberal "successes" determined by good intentions rather than results?
If the Whigs had the same rallying cry ("Just vote for the Whigs"), how much longer would the Whigs have continued as an ineffective party? The problem back then was that the differences between the Whigs and the dems narrowed. As the Whigs atrophied, Whig voters had no representation (just as conservative republicans have little today!)and it became easy to vote for dems who "had some "Whiglike" principles. This meant that the democrats back then had to be garnishing more support. Is the fate of the current Republican party the same as that of the Whigs. If so, continueing to vote for non-conservative repubicans will just tend to put the republican party on life support and keep it hanging around, but it will not prevent its...

The Doritos Ad Was Not Funny

I guess I'm surprised that so many people saw this stupid commercial. The game this year was good enough that I didn't want to miss any. I used the plethora of commercial breaks to go to the kitchen and get more beer and Doritos. To me, commercials, even during the Super Bowl, are an opportunity to get provisions or channel surf. I'm sure not gonna sit and watch 'em!

Were They Duped Or Were They Stupid?

Come on. Having college graduation hanging over my head, I was really concerned that I'd finally have to get a job and support myself. I voted for BO because I felt that he was my best chance of avoiding that silly job situation and I wouldn't have to worry about food or heathcare or income. These would all be provided somehow. So far, it looks like I'm right. My "smart" friends are now into the 9 to 5 drudgery that will crush them for the rest of their lives while I smile each morning as they trudge off and wish them to "have a nice day". And you call me stupid?

What an outright asinine statement-healthcare is a right. These brainless politicians throw around lots of terms they don't understand which only highlights their moronity. No, Senator, by definition there can't be a "right" that flows to some at the expense of others-whether it be doctors, hospitals, or taxpayers. These jerks are forever trying to take away real "rights',such as my right to own a firearm or my right to freely worship and make up ones that, can't exist. What a bunch of dolts!
