Libertarians are not pro-abortion like your typical leftist. Libertarians are not anti-religion like your typical leftist. And Libertarians for the most part support fighting against those that would attack the U.S. Libertarians often share much more in common with conservatives regarding the proper size and role of government than any leftist democrat. So I keep wondering why conservatives continue to attack Libertarians as if they were evil incarnate. Keep it up guys. Maybe we'll get more and more big spending big government republicans voted in this year instead of tea party like republicans that want to scale back big intrusive government. That would be great! More McCains more Bob Doles. Lets kick the debt can down...

Nicely done. I get so upset when I see people that should know better compare Libertarians to Anarchists or Leftist Liberal Democrats that.... well..... I just get flabergasted and can't hardly express my feelings or thoughts on the matter. The more often that conservative republicans ridicule or outright attack Libertarians the more likely this nation will continue to elect leftist democrat after leftist democrat.... after all why vote for big-gov. republicans (leftist light) when you can have the real thing. lol. Give the republicans time... they will snatch defeat from the jaws of victory yet.

You're so far off base concerning Libertarians that it's laughable. Read some books on Libertarianism and then come back and apologize for your ignorance.

Nice post. Kevin McCollough is doing his best to get another "McCain" nominated for the republicans in 2012. I'd love to see a Paul Ryan type win the nomination but I fear that people like Kevin McCollough will end up giving us "Bob Dole" all over again. "Tax collector for the welfare state"- isn't that an inspiring slogan for 2012? It's worked so well in the past.

True. Well said. And fools like Kevin McCollough are helping Obama all the way by writing hit pieces like this drivil. Libertarians for the most part believe in limited government and freedom to live your life as you see fit as long as you don't violate the rights of others. If those of us on the conservative/libertarian end of the spectrum turn on one another (Kevin McCollough- i'm talking about you) and allow Obama to be reelected we only will have ourselves to blame.

Ok Kevin. Let me get this straight. Libertarians stuffed the ballot box by..... voting for whom they believe is the best candidate? Wow. What nerve. Their choice may not be yours, but maybe you should respect the choice, list some positives about their choice and then respectfully disagree and list why you believe they are the wrong choices... You just show yourself as a big-gov. republican by using bits like "economic greed" to describe libertarians. Really? It's economic greed to want to keep the money and wealth that you earn off of hard work and investments. Really?...... Kevin, maybe you should sign up for Obama's reelection campaign right away because calling taxpayers "greedy" is right out of his playbook. Good job. *sigh*
