Obviously, Republicans do not understand that the "rich" Liberals refer to and seem to envy so much, are the folks that are 'rich' in optimism and willingness to take a chance on going broke, in order to make their dreams come true. Envy, is what kills the motivation to get off it and make yourself a success. Envy is what Liberals try to instill in us all, rather than optimism in our future, as long as the government gets out of our way.
Obviously you haven't had an idea that you wanted to create a business around, only to be stopped by high taxes and regulations. I know, you have never had the optimism to feel that you could make more money than your union wages or your state civil service job will pay, to try to start up a new business and then hire some helpers to make it happen. This is why you do not see such people as the very 'rich,'that the Republicans are trying to help, by reducing their tax burdens so that they can afford to bring their dreams into existence, and hire lots of Obama-supporting college students.

Egypt's 'Moderate' Despot

Why isn't Morci's action a model for Obama? He already has proven that he does not need to live by or be constrianed by our Constitution. So, why not do the same thing here? I'm sorry, but the citizens can buy all the guns they want, because it will not do them any good now that Obama can fly ROV's over us, and ride around in armored cars, who is going to stop him?

You don't 'need. a smart phone, but they are fun to play games with and have face to face phone calls with your loved ones who live far away from you. You may actually be able to have face to face contacts with your members of the ruling class one day, who knows? Of course, by the time our caving "Conservative" members of Congress get through, being traitors to America's economy, who knows what any of us will be able to afford.

How do we grab the caving members of our ruling class and shake them back into line? Just because Obama, won again does not mean that they are required to give him what he foolishly wants. They were not elected to raise taxes and kill our economy. I haven't been for throwing out everyone in Congress, but if our guys cave, then we do need to throw them out!

Where to Adjust, Where to Stand Firm

The Republicans that could not vote for Romney, probably thought that Obama would not win, if they voted for Paul and therefore probably forgot how Clinton got elected, both times. There is nothing like having every conservative candidate taken out of the race, so that the only one left standing is the Moderate. How better to guarantee your incompetent, radical, racist, communist, can get reelected, than by helping a Moderate to run against him? That's what happened with McCain, so why not with Romney, too?

Fiscal Cliff? Tax the Rich

James2229 Wrote: Nov 15, 2012 12:37 PM
If you want to tax the rich more why not raise taxes on all the folks that donated to Obama's campaign. They are the ones that benefitted from his last 4 years. Seriously, if one could isolate the small business owners from the 'rich'-in other words-the idle rich, then maybe I would go along with it. But since even the idle rich hire people to do things for them that they don't want to do themselves, so maybe they would be left out of the equation too, so then where are we. I say, raise taxes on everyone. except me and thee.

How Republicans Can Find Themselves

Ron Paul attracted the young voter just like Obama did, and for the same reasons. Young voters do not have the experience of older voters, that have seen the effects of foolish ideas and flim-flam campaign-speech lies, without looking too deeply into the actual record of the individual. Hence, now we have a radical running things and the very people that supported him are the ones most suffering for electing him. Sort-of like the Useful Fools of the Bolshivik Revolution.

Ron Paul made a lot of sense, as long as I didn't listen too long. Radical ideas are often pretty interesting until, you look at the results and then you see something like Marxism come from one and Pearl Harbor another, when we didn't have ourselves armed to the teeth, so that any aggressor would think long and hard before attacking. Abortion of a baby to protect the rights of the mother to decide about her own body sounds just, until you talk to women that have actually had one, and can never forget about the little one she snuffed out, so she could keep having sex without having to raise any of the children issuing from that activity..

How many of the voters in the swing states that gave Obama the election, were dead before the election is the question, Republicans need to answer. I was truly shocked to hear Sean Hannity say that he did not have to show an photo ID in order to get elected. How many of the swing states have the same lax election laws? How many of the military absentee votes that were not counted were in the swing states? Before we start changing our party, how about we fix these problems? How come the Democrats had get out the votes practice sessions, but we did not? Maybe the Republican party should change its name to the Charlie Brown party since they act like him. We're supposed to be hawks, not sheep, so why do we not fight like hawks????????

One Big Failure

First you have to win the election, then you have to clean out the mess. Bush did not clean up the mess left over by Clinton. When private FBI files were looked at by Clinton cronys nothing was done to them even though a Republican went to jail for the same thing. All the stuff that Holder is hiding needs to be exposed to public light. All the stuff that our state department is hiding needs to be exposed to the light of day-as long as it does not compromise security, too. All of the stuff that EPA and DOE and the Interior is doing needs to be exposed. Unless this is done, they will keep getting away with stuff Republicans go to jail over.
