When a Kohl's advertising brochure that was received with a local newspaper featured Britney Spears on the cover, I called Kohl's corporate office to complain. I told them that one of my worst nightmares would be for my 10 year old daughter to start emulating Britney Spears and I thought Kohl's wanted an image of supporting families. Also, I would have to decide if shopping at Kohl's was a good decision for me and my family. I have told others about my phone call to Kohl's.

I know there are far worse examples than Kohl's - I have made it known to my children that clothing from Abercrombie & Fitch are not allowed in the house.
