I'm suing a person who has committed Offense X against me.

The person happens to have been born in one of the 40-some-odd Spanish speaking countries (other than Spain).

I go to court.

I stand for the Judge.

The Judge is Sonia Sotomayor.

Based on the ethnicities of the person suing (me, Irish) and the person being sued (him, Latino), it's really hard not to think that Judge Sotomayor would have her verdict in mind before she even sat down in her chair.

...left Lebanon in the 1950s to escape from these lunatics. If he'd wanted to live in the Middle East, he never would have moved to the US to begin with.

Also: he never went back.

Perhaps an American House of Commons is in order, as the aristrocracy now have two houses representing their interests, while the people have none.
