Actually, there are solid economic reasons that endorse the statements you made about "republicanism" (that's not a real term but you are used to making things up I can see). On the other hand, "taxing some to give away free stuff to others" also has solid economic reasons that show how detrimental that philosophy is. So nice try junior, but let the adults debate here..

2 questions for folks commenting here: 1) How many of you personally changed the minds of your friends, neighbors, family, etc. who were leaning towards Obama to vote for Romney? 2) How may of you have kids that voted for Obama? Listen, all the blogs, talk radio, books, etc are preaching to the choir. Conservatism cannot be explained with bumper stickers or one-liners. You have to personally engage people and over time they will get it. Liberals have it easy since their ideology is intellectualy lazy: Just say, "I'll give you free stuff" and they can easily get votes. Conservatives have to work a lot harder.
