I understand your concern but there are some things a person in public or running for public office has to be very careful about. His answer to the pro-life/choice should be, 'I will support the law of the land,-the wish of the people of this country, whichever it is.' To do otherwise would be, in essence, to disavow one party or the other. Remember, he will be the president of both parties and, as such, must respect the wishes of all. As an example, a soldier is required to defend the constitution of the US and show respect and be led by the President, regardless of the political dent of the President. A soldier cannot be allowed to criticize in public his commander in chief, no matter what the soldiers personal preference is.

For George W. Bush's 1st six years the Republicans also controlled Congress and did NOTHING about Roe vs. Wade!

Also consider that the president has very little power to change Roe V Wade.
He does have influence on laws that encourage/discourage marriage, and abortion through the tax code and/or through the evils of obnoxious-care.

And that is exactly why I look past all the rhedoric and look at the whole picture. To tell you the truth It was Romneys wife and Paul Ryan that actually changed my mind. I wasn't going to vote for Romney. I wasnt going to vote for anyone but being who I am I couldn't sit back. I had to look at all sides so I continued to pay attention and found out there were things about Roney I could relate to. And I am part of the middle class and to top that I'm a women So whoever says that women and middle income people don't relate to Romney are liars.

A new poll from the Pew Center for Public Something-or-Another finally get's it right.

Obama's going to lose and it likely won't be close.

According to Fox News, liberals are up in arms about the Pew poll, which has Romney up 49-45 percent just few weeks before balloting starts in some states.

From Fox News

Something isn’t just rotten in Denmark. Try Washington, D.C., where liberal are going insane reacting to the latest Pew poll results that show Romney kicking election butt by 49-45.
