What I Saw in Israel

I'm an American citizen currently studying at an international college in Israel. It's a wonderful country and it's a shame that most of my fellow Jews don't care about its safety and side with the enemy.

I hope that when you say most of my fellow Jews don't care about israel you probably mean american jews. they helped put obama where he is to their eternal shame.

Jake..I don't know the international college you are referring to but it would seem to me that it is composed of many Jews from around the world. The opinions of the young are sadly slanted as they have yet to live in what is called "the real world" Well, I live in the real world & have been to Israel nine times to visit FAMILY..I have never been a tourist..every sigle Jew I have met & some gotten to know well most certainly support THEIR country & it's goals. You are young & I wish you the best of educations..but first you must graduate from this international college - then step out into the world & truly experience life. You will be very surprised if you choose to remain in Israel. Obama is despised & his visit will prove nothing!

I meant only the American Jews side against Israel. The Israelis are completely different.

American Jews are totally different from the Israelis. American Jews are socialist bolshevics, have no love for the country, 0bama boot lickers.
Isrealis are the opposite.

So many come from Countries where the Bolsheviks offered hope and where Stalin fought Hitler. They, and their children carry attitudes that reflect that.
Some joined groups in the forest as opposition to Hitler and can tell of it, if they still live.
Just as Liberal Californians flee that State, as if fails under Liberal leadership, and bring their infection to Texas, these Jews brought their infection here. Alinsky was a child of such.

American Jews realize that they have no more to do with Israel than a 10th generation U.S. citizen named Swenson has to do with Sweden. If they do think about it, they likely consider it a vulnerable ghetto that endangers 4 million of their co-religionists.

Dear NewJAI, Very insightful observation. So true. So sad; people seem
to be unable to learn from history. Thank you.

As for Obama seeing anything in Israel; those who think he will must realize
that he has no intention of seeing anything beyond his evil agenda.

they are too ignorant for words.

RW6 - true perhaps of the majority of the 75% of Jewish Americans who are not Torah-observant. Those who live the faith of their fathers are extremely concerned and connected to the Jewish ancestral homeland. Sure, if you look at it objectively, or through atheist's eyes, the Jews there are at risk. But there are Other reasons to be confident.

As President Obama prepares for his first trip to Israel, I hope when he gets there he sees what I saw.

Several weeks ago I returned from my first trip to Israel. I went with a delegation headed by Governor Mike Huckabee, who visits Israel at least once every year.

What did I see?

I saw kids, no more than 18 years old, walking down the street, waiting at bus stops, wearing Army green khakis, and carrying machine guns on their backs. One young girl was as black skinned as me.

Kids doing their compulsory army service as part of...
