He also likes sticking it to them because it creates the underclass he needs to get votes. He makes life miserable for them, then promises to fix it if they re-elect him. The Democrats have been pulling this crap forever.

Yep. Like Ann Coulter says, "It's all the liberals' fault." So true.

It's all about economics. Raise the price of anything and the demand goes down. Raise the price of labor and the demand for labor decreases. It also adds to inflation, because the higher costs of labor get passed to the consume. Then, the people who just got a pay raise from raising the minimum wage are suddenly back where they started. It's like one step forward, two steps back. The minimum wage should be abolished! I'm sorry Romney doesn't feel the same way, but it's either him or Obama, take your pick. Me, I'm sticking with Romney.

Same Sex Marriage Isn't a Right

Excuse me, but the last time I looked at our constitution, it contained a Bill of Rights. There is no specific right for two people to get married. "so long as they do not harm others". Ah, there lies the rub. Gay marriage harms society as I pointed out in my previous post. "two guys exchanging vows, filing papers defining inheritance and power of attorney, and living together harms neither me nor anyone else". You are correct. However, your conslusion that gay people have a right to get married is a non-sequiter. I agree that gays should have all the rights of marriage which is why I and other conservatives are NOT homophobic as some of you declare. While not one who is in favor of more laws, I'm in favor of a law that allows...

Standards of society cannot be determined by compassion or fairness. All standards by default, are inherently unfair to someone. For example, it's unfair to someone with less than 20-20 vision that they cannot become a pilot. But if we were to base societal standards on fairness, then we would have pilots with less than perfect vision. Is that what we want? Do we want our children growing up thinking there is no difference between men and women? That's already being taught in our schools by the leftists in charge of academia. When people in a society don't know the difference between men and women, the result will be chaos. As a society, we simply cannot withstand such a fundamental change.

The author is correct. The rights of Americans come from God (life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness) and from our Constitution. There is no specific right to marry anyone stated anywhere. Marriage is a privilege, similar to driving a car, but is a fundamental pillar of our society and it has been defined for thousands of years by all great moral thinkers including Jesus Christ, Aristotle, Thomas Aquinas and all the Popes, as between one man and one woman. But the "worst generation" of the 60's thinks they know better and have more wisdom than all the great moral thinkers of history and out of compassion, want to fundamentally transform our country just as Obama promised he would.
In a time when mobs and violent crime should be powerfully struck down, we get protests against police action, accusations of racism and protests against Wall Street. In our new entitlement-minded, egalitarian society, it's always someone else's fault. The New York Times described Zimmerman as a "White-Hispanic", proof that the left wing media usually tries to portray any conflict resulting in the death of a black person by a non-black person as racist. Racist demagogues like Jackson and Sharpton need to be silenced. This is not anti-free speech. What these demagogues do is akin to shouting "fire" in a crowded theater. Freedom comes with responsibility.

The Real Reason the NAACP Went to Geneva

Reminds me of the Eddie Cochran song, "Summertime Blues". "I'm gonna take my problem to the United Nations". What may seem absurd to us is actually the MOA of the radical left. They want to destroy society as we know it so they can get a Marxist revolution. This and many other "absurdities" are going to keep coming and we have to denounce them and shine the light on how they are operating.
Fortunately for us, Obama and his administration are not the sharpest knives in the drawer. The healthcare bill simply cannot survive because there are so many obvious mistakes in it. Forcing a church to provide contraceptives and forcing citizens to buy insurance is so unconstitutional it is laughable. This is why it is so important to put a Republican in the White House. When Kennedy retires from SCOTUS, he must be replaced by a defender of the constitution.
Your title has a double entendre. At first glance, I thought it was "Fuehrer Obscures Real Issue..." Yes, our Fuehrer-in-Chief, Barack Hussein Obama has obscured every issue in his healthcare grab. Because once he controls our healthcare, he controls our very lives. Food police are next. Anything they deem "unhealthy" could raise insurance costs and thus will be outlawed based on lack of government funds. Our very lives will be threatened when our omniscient provider of health care decides we are too old and in the way to bother with. Soylent Green, anyone?
