I cringe every time emanuel is referred to as "rahmbo." The name is an obvious reference to John Rambo, but the inference is heroism in war, self-sacrifice for a nobler cause, and superior ability under pressure. Rahm is no hero, is an uber-millionaire who made his dough from a scam government sinecure, who pimped the most corrupt administration in history, and is a pint-size dwarf with an oversized chip on his narrow shoulder who couldn't fight his way out of a paper bag. He's an over the hill ballerina, little more,
As an academic, what krugman says is laboratory theory not put to the test in real world conditions. Estonia has pulled of an economic turnaround that threatens krugman's lab simulations and computer models, all of which function in the absence of actual human behavior. His ego is the problem, with the nobel weighing too heavily on his brain. Has krugman ever run a business or country, other than his massive mcmansion?
As a plagiarist, maybe she, too, then, can one day be Vice-President, like our current one.
"the only way Congress can get one dollar to spend is to take that one dollar from Americans..." To spit out one dollar, the government must take in many dollars, not just one. This alone is reason enough to kill much of the federal spending.

Interesting to note that, when you strip away the glitter and tinsel of the elite, highly educated, policy writing, wealthy ruling class, they're just liars and thieves no different than hugo chavez or fidel.
Democrats had a term for politicians who usurped military prowess without ever having actually put on a uniform in the country's service: Chicken Hawk. Fits obama perfectly.
A wise man told me that homelessness of itself isn't a bad thing, and illustrated that people throughout history have been technically homeless; John Muir, mountain men, pioneers heading West, etc. What marks the difference between these homeless and the bums of this article is the lack of a sense of purpose. Welfare kills purpose in life, as it is intended to do, for the benefit of those who dole the payola, who most definitely have a purpose - albeit evil - in life.

"...but Williams and his Black Armed Guard stood sentry and repelled the larger, cowardly force. And that was the end of it." And thus another honored democrat tradition: When the enemy resists, cut and run. Oh, sorry. I mean "redeploy."
Amusing to see the House and Senate in such a twist about activities that the politicians probably do on a routine basis. Any day, expect to hear Barney Frank in high dudgeon lamenting the absence of male prostitutes in the scandal.
Obama's new "throw it like a man on opening day" Czar.
