I guess I'm an extremist, Jeff. At this stage of the game, a pro-life platform is the only reason I'm still a republican. If they lose that, they lose me. I'm really disappointed in this article. I usually agree with you. I can't believe that you could take such a relativistic view of abortion. It's either objectively moral or it isn't. As in the case of any type of killing, there may be mitigating circumstances which lessens the perpetrators guilt, but it is still an evil (yes, there's my extreme religious bent showing) that the child suffers. It is the first right in the Declaration for a reason. If you are denied the right to life, you are denied all the other ones that follow it.
