You're comparing apples and oranges. Children, or any innocent person, killed unintentionally in war is not the same as killing a specific child on purpose. Whether this war or that was really is a necessary defensive action is always open to debate. There is never any debate about the possibility that the mother, or other innocents, will die a violent death unless she kills her baby. War, as a defensive action, is a way to protect innocent lives. Abortion NEVER saves anyone's life.
I have a friend who suffered through a horrific gang rape nearly twenty years ago. There were three perpetrators but one in particular served as the ringleader and principal conspirator. He was in his early thirties when he planned the crime and convinced a twenty-one year old and a nineteen year old to join him. His victim was only sixteen years old.
