A Post-Racial President?

Can we simply yield to the almighty arbiter of race relations? I give you the great Al Sharpton, while speaking to MJs children,stated--and I quote:
"..what'an nothin strange bout yo daddy..."
(...slang homage to Ms Zora Neale Hurston)
Now, lets just accept that and move peace-ably into the post-racial world! This colored- American is there...come on in..the water's objective!

I love the hate---
Here, and only here, is a fair, witty, deserved, entertaining, necessary, and welcomed example of hate.
Not many can pull this off!
Keith! Forever's WORST person in the world!
Gloria Allred, a close second---OK, that was unnecessary! Let's leave good hate to Ann!

As a black college student, I struggled! It had more to do with being lazy, than being black. Now, I could have presented my "black, move-me-forward,and give me money" card. But I had parents kick me into a better attitude! I used my own money to eek-out a diploma. My homework ethic (which was none) did not deserve a loan. That was a blessing; as I came out of school debt-free. My work ethic was my last "barrier"----LIFE took care of that!
All to say:

When I break it out, from forced shame, it will now have a bumper sticker on it:
BBC approved!!!!!

I have 2 girls--and I get caught up in cute.
Cute won't
"... so they can grow up and go out into the world equipped to face life's challenges".

I'm NOW cured---I've dropped the excuses!

Jackie Robinson--
I'm reminded of baseball, and its "problem" that blacks are disappearing...There is a plan to "fix' it.
Similarly, South Korean ladies are taking over woman's golf. Should we fix that problem also?
Yes,TSowell,
race matters remain tangled in all areas: assumptions, evasions and contradictions, to be sure---
Good article

when a conservative drops from the bench, I'll consider all of these thoughts--
Meanwhile, let her in----we can already see a few cards!
Would you want her the fold, only to let Barack dip into the well again?

all produce the same result!
That's our system...
And, Thank God--and our founding fathers-- for it!
It cannot get more perfect than that!
"We the people" are, again, reminded that we are in charge;our votes eventually decides the direction of the court---
To the extent that we start to understand that,
and potentially increase our dismal voting turnout, then G.Will's "depression" will recede.
5-4 is my favorite count- all arguments are represented, and on the table---
The USA,as a whole, casts the ultimate vote.
