Coulter: Republicans Should Cave on Tax Hikes Because "We Lost the Election"

This game has to be played differently, especially in the light of the peoples’ mandate. The republicans should let the consequences establish their point by having the democrats own their wish. The projected increase in annual revenue from the administration’s proposed tax increase on those earning over 200K will not be sufficient to run the federal government even for a week. Again “projected” is the operative word here because laws of economics and tax loopholes will not translate projected to real. However, the move does have impact on the poor and the middle-class. Simply put, if a business owner has additional taxes in 2013, what does that mean to you as his employee, customer, supplier or even as a job seeker?

Hannity to Coulter: "You sound like Obama." Fightin' words:

SH: So are you saying that, for PR purposes, that they should give in to Obama on the tax rate?
AC: Not exactly, I--Well, yeah, I guess I am.
SH: You're saying capitulate to Obama? We don't have a revenue problem, Ann.
AC: We lost the election, Sean.

Hannity seems genuinely flummoxed by Coulter's capitulatory attitude, but does she have a point?  Recent polling has been gruesome...
