Bob, your take on this is accurate, few of our Senators will take time out of their precious schedules to actually read the bill. They are lazy cowards that care little for our concerns. This article calls the Senators willing to sign this bill traitors guilty of treason http://mywtfblog.com/2013/06/immigration-bill-treason-on-the-border/ I think we should all start calling them what they are.

Sequester: Not Even a Cut

The sequester battle is the finest application of Alinsky's Rules ever produced. But it will fail due to the failure to adhere to Rule #7 http://mywtfblog.com/2013/03/watching-alinskyn/ You are watching a made for TV drama series
Here is a great compromise that I read that lists 5 simple conditions that must be met prior to enacting drastic gun control/confiscation as desired by liberals: http://mywtfblog.com/2012/12/gun-control-checklist/

Tim, it is important to put a face on the debt number so that it becomes personalized; use the Alinsky tactics to our advantage. I just bought this for my granddaughter for that purpose http://shop.mywtfblog.com/Baby-Owes-IO-500W.htm When people realize there is a personal cost to to running up the debt it has an effect.
Here is how Romney should respond to questions about climate change: "Yes, I believe the Earth's climate is changing, just as it has been changing since the creation of the planet; and, I believe it will continue to change for millions of years to come. For mankind to think that it has the knowledge to understand God's plan, or the power to alter it, is not only arrogant, but shows an utter lack of understanding about the world upon which we live. Spending trillions of dollars, relinquishing our sovereignty and sacrificing our freedoms in an attempt to control that which cannot be controlled, is a complete abrogation of duties of any leader."

The War Is Over?

Great article Cal. I sat in shock when I read the original article at the beginning of the week. That one statement by an unnamed State Department official put our efforts to inform the world of the ideology that we are fighting back years. I had to sit down and write about it also http://mywtfblog.com/2012/04/i-guess-i-missed-the-memo/ I end with the warning that the war on terror will be fought until we either defeat, or succumb to the ideology behind the terror. Our country has some difficult choices, and some very difficult discussions in our future; unnamed sources with silly comments only make the situation worse.

Amazing how these items become a crisis just prior to elections. Watch for this issue to be incorporated into a general theme as the Occupy movement adopts student loan forgiveness as part of its platform http://mywtfblog.com/2012/03/the-next-manufactured-crisis/ I tend to agree that this is how the Left plans to recapture the passion of the youth vote in this election cycle.
Jasser is showing American Muslims how their worship can coexist with American laws and values, while CAIR is pushing for a multicultural society where the two will always be in conflict. Here is the most important point; Jasser views Islam as a religion, and CAIR considers it an all inclusive culture and ideology with a religious component. This distinction cannot be understated if we ever expect America to find peace within its borders. I explain the difficult debate our country will be forced to to have in this article: http://mywtfblog.com/2012/04/is-it-a-religion/ The conversation is very basic; you may worship any god you wish as is protected by the 1st Amendment, but to live in America you must separate yourself from the ideology
America has lost the understanding of the threats to the country that all accepted on 9/11 and the days that followed. Never forget? Sadly, we have. Here is what I find encouraging though; the past year has revealed a trend based upon people learning about Islam, and the evil ideology that resides within it. There is a true questioning taking place that will allow the difficult conversations that must take place within our society. You are right about the solution. Muslims are the only ones who can fix the problem, and the world must stand behind them when they are ready to undertake the task. They must be the ones to reform their religion and clean out the radicals. Unfortunately, millions will die before this takes place.
