All well and good. Romney also was the first governor to open the door to gay marriage, allowing that awful fallacy access to the rest of the country. That, combined with his evident inability to discern between a cult and true religion, is enough to scare me away. For whom shall I vote in Nov? Like the song says, I ain't got nobody!
The church has failed in many ways over many years. Shall we add to those failures a failure to keep our LORD's command to "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature"? Jim Elliott was killed in 1956 by Waodani Indians. Later, his wife Elizabeth went back and won those Indians to the LORD. Was she wrong to do so? They were cold-blooded murderers. I was as bad a sinner as any. But Jesus saved me 35 years ago and I live for him now. Should the gospel have been withheld from me because I was lawless and immoral? I have a coworker who is a Muslim. My question to you is: How should I treat him? Thanks.
With an estimated 7M muslims in the US today, and that number expected to double in 10 years, what is the church's responsibility toward them? Are they all to be vilified, ignored, demeaned? What is our Christian responsibility to them? Are they less in need of the gospel than other groups? Or are they unreachable? There are 80 registered mosques in my state. Thanks.
Why would Romney's faith NOT be an issue? If he misses it there, on the most important of issues, isn't he likely to miss it on the lesser issues too? In fact, Romney has missed it, on gay marriage and abortion.

America Badly Needs Leaders

The dearth of leadership is similar to Israel's punishment for their apostasy, recorded in Isaiah 3: "[As for] my people, children [are] their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause [thee] to err, and destroy the way of thy paths." Women can be effective leaders - that is not Isaiah's point. His point is that there are no men, and the leadership defaults to those who remain, the women and children.

Liberals will say that making abortion illegal will not prevent the continuation of abortion. There will still be the back-alley abortionist. I reply that no one imagines making something illegal will eliminate it. There will always be tax cheats, prostitutes, pedophiles and abortionists. However, by making abortion illegal we are stripping away the cloak of legitimacy and, no doubt, saving the lives of those babies whose mothers have at least some respect for the law. By making abortion illegal we cease to participate in it's execution and thus move toward regaining the favor of God. It's the right thing to do. My concern is that the blood-debt of 55M lives is so great that a punitive holocaust is coming our way. Will it be in the...

Obama's New 'Gay' Force

A 2007 CDC study further rocked the homosexual activist community, finding that, although "gay" men comprise only 1-to-2 percent of the population, they account for an epidemic 64 percent of all syphilis cases. More proof that sodomy is a perversion.
