Wresting control of the education system from the corrupt-ocrats and communists/socialists will be a long one. An election is't going to do it, in fact hundreds of elections won't do it. The only way it's going to happen is INVOLVEMENT. Parents need to be Involved in their kids' education, and that means more than just attending a weekly PTA meeting. It means riding herd on your local board of Ed, and weeding out the deadwood being coddled by the teachers unions. Once we have the scools back where they belong, we get to tackle the Universities, and the govt Bureaucracy. In a generation or 2 we can do it. But this election is only the beginning.

There seem to be "Levels" of Libertarianism. I've always referred to my political inclinations as "Libertarian with Republican tendencies". That extends to the war on drugs, and eliminating ALL unconstitutional govt. agencies. Yet, I still believe Ron Paul's foreign policy can best be described as Insane. Your brand of libertarianism is more Libertine-ism than Libertarian. If it Feels Good Do it. pretty much sums it up.

I have to agree with Mark. The Ron Paul "campaign" isn't a campaign in the traditional sense. It more closely resembles a CULT all revolving around a short, mouse-faced litle man with a squeaky voice and really bad ideas. The Branch Davidians were more mainstream than the Paulistas.
