D G was commenting that Obama's claim that the Bushes were mainly reaponsible for the debt is so much crap, because Bush was basically complying with Federal law that required the spending. DG's post is much more deserving of the electrons used to save it for viewing that the rediculous crap that you, like, posted.

Liberals have never balanced anything, other than outgoing dollars with their outsized egos. Republicans "balanced" the budget the only time it has been balanced in 200 years, and that was the result of "creative" bookkeeping the likes of which sank the multi-billion dollar Enron. A "decrease" in a budget item is actually a decrease in the amount of the increase for that item in a particular budget. The Federal budget should be limited to an increase no more than the rate of inflation. Under that premise, the budget should have decreased for this fiscal year. That, and cutting out useless, wasteful departments and bureaucraties, is the only way the budget will ever be brought under control.
