Heroes Will Emerge

It is obvious that the author of this piece has never been a teacher. Try to fill a glass with a cover on it before you condemn teachers for the poor preformance of thier students. I have taught for 38 years and since I was fortunate to work with highly motivated science students, I was able to show positive results. I knew of teachers who worked just as hard as I did but were not as fortunate since the students they worked with had no parental involment and therefore no motivation. The students who failed their classes and supposedly had learning disabilities, somehow excelled at one class 'DRIVER'S ED'. Walk the walk before you criticize an entire group of educators.
