Democrats Bite Democrats

I rarely put myself in the position of defending Obama, however, while he was raised by his mother's family, his grandfather probably took on most of those fatherly duties enough to be known as his "father". The man did serve in WWII. I don't believe he was thinking of his true biological father at the time he spoke. Don't take slight misstatements as a lie, it's like crying wolf. Obama does enough lying on larger issues that would fill a book. The small lies he says, not knowing the Salehi's, not knowing who Snooki is, etc, simply reflect the kind of person he is, one who uses casual lies because he's used to it, and it's a huge character flaw. The big lies, if you follow them, are part of the same problem but have the potential...

Bring back the Old Harry Reid

From now until the election, Reid, Boxes, Pelosi and most of the Congressional left will hide from the public, as Boxer did after she berated an Army General (she disappeared to China for a couple of weeks). They will not risk inflaming the public any more than they have. They will hide like the cowards they are and not offer debate, or ideas, other than the nudge to Socialism that they espouse. They will try to sneak by on their records, bleak as they are, and try to fool us again. When they are finally forced out, after realizing the negative effects of silence in the face of attacks, they will suddenly be "moderates". They will use others to be the negative attack dogs, like the NAACCCP, or Obama himself, to denigrate the...
Obama, like myself, must think it very important to use NASA to export new nuclear and rocket technologies to Muslim Countries. That way, they can use these technologies later to practice urban renewal on American cities, like Washington. On that can we all agree?

Politics of Envy

The first of the guillotine cuts...salary for the big boys. Later on, we'll get those who make between four and twenty million...off with their heads too. It will be great when we all make the same amount, like 40 bucks a month, as they do in glorious Cuba. Hey, the National Baseball League is governed under trust laws enacted by Congress. If we only pay those guys 40 bucks a month, we could all afford tickets. A-Rod makes far too much. Saw him strike out tonight. Backward K.

Let's invade Russia.

Ginsburg and the Surplus Population

Whatever politics you may have or whatever your views on abortion or Ginsberg, she is correct. At the time, in the infancy of Feminism and it's goal to push through abortion, many views were expressed to argue for abortion. One of these was economic. It was argued that poor, single women and the children born to them, were an economic drain on the State's resources. It was argued, that if the children of the poor, and the unmarried were aborted, society would not have to pay for them and crime would go down and welfare would be eliminated, yada yada yada. This was the predominate group that everyone wished to eliminate, at least in the US.

At the same time, Professors like Paul Erlich, were warning about how the overall...

Nerobama

Obama and the left in Congress will use every opportunity to push their agenda forward. The oil spill will be allowed to continue as it confers guilt on BP and the Republican enemy, proponents for oil drilling, as long as it continues. They will find a way to push through cap and trade and other sources of energy production (many of which they have opposed for 30 years) based on this disaster. It matters not that the coast is destroyed or that livelihoods are destroyed as well. To their minds, the oil spill is temporary while cap and trade is permanent.

The border continues to bleed with total disregard for our immigration laws, and Obama will do nothing. Until everyone is screaming for the Feds to do something, anything, he will...
This is good news. I can't wait until the PETA people finally rule. Then I will be free to marry my faithful dog Fred, since animals will be given the same rights as people. I proposed the other day over a can of Alpo, but I didn't receive the "yes" I was expecting. Then I accidentally dropped the ring in the food and he ate it. I guess I'll have to wait for nature to take its course before I can retrieve the ring and ask again. But, hell, I'll follow him anywhere. Now, where is that scooper?

When War Is Not Metaphor

Wild Bill - your analysis is good but is problematic. Identifying the enemies weakness is impossible for a fanatic who would sacrifice his own family and every non-Muslim in the world. He does not fear death. This is his strength and it is difficult to use it against him.

Change the conditions by making it dishonorable to continue? This also does not work for the implacable enemy. Hitler was such a foe and died with his wife and took with him the unworthy Germans who failed to live up to his standards. Berlin was uselessly destroyed and hundreds of thousands died. The Islamists would take all unworthy Muslims down too. It would be honorable for them to do so, in their view, indeed, they view it as a duty.

We will never...
"ObamaCare would require, under threat of penalty, every American to have insurance, fundamentally altering the relationship between citizen and state"

Really? Does that mean every American will also have to pay something for it? Will the unemployed people who are welfare, food stamps, section 8 or other subsidized housing, in low income neighborhoods with meals provided at school, and millions in free college grants, really face jail time for not paying the estimated $15,000 in premiums everyone else will have to pay?

What will you bet that there will be an income threshold below which certain people will not be forced to buy insurance? How long will it be before 51% of people under Obamacare won't be paying premiums under...

The Great Peasant Revolt of 2010

Liberals might want to sit back and think, well, the smartest, most intellectual President in modern history (the one who's unrivalled achievements at Harvard are still unknown to anyone)can't seem to pronounce the word Potatoe, I mean, Corpssman. Will the media be laughing at this for the next six months?
