Actually Romney can be and must shoulder some of the blame for losing the campaign. After all he was the nominee. There was a huge amount of time between the end of the primaries in May and the beginning of the convention in September where Romney was not very visible. Why? In fact, the convention should have been a been festival of renewal for the party, instead it was more of a ho-hum affair. Almost no momentum coming out of the convention especially with the Democratic convention a week later. Also, next time, let's schedule the convention in a non-hurricane state such as Iowa.
