Why Romney Lost

The reason was there wasn't much of a substantial difference between Romney and Obama. Sure, the talk was different, but it was hard to see how Romney the Governor was different from Obama the President. It was highly unlikely that Romney the Candidate would ever show up in office. So, it's all about picking two identical options, so voters decided that a superficial change to a different face wasn't worth the effort. That and the IRS helped a bit.

"Free education for all children in government schools." Plank #10 of the Communist Manifesto It's about time we behave like real conservatives and demand an end to government funded schooling.

The US military hasn't been used to protect the country since 1941.
Wal-Mart should just alter their construction plans to come in at 74,900 square feet and thumb their nose at the city council.

The GOP Isolationist Myth

Singapore, Lichtenstein, and Luxemborg seem to have no problem getting all those needed strategic resources without deploying large militaries all over creation. And they have far fewer natural resources than we do.

The GOP Isolationist Myth

I'm rather tired of columnists who don't understand the definition of isolationism. Isolationism is what North Korea, Iran, and Cuba practice. It's the policy where all interaction by citizenry with other foreign nations, from trade to travel, is forbidden. Taft and both Pauls never have once proposed this kind of activity. They are not isolationist. Isolationist nations are best defined as those that throw up trade barriers (tariffs), limit travel (difficult visa processes), and engage in militarily belligerant actions. The United States today is isolationist. Rand Paul wants to allow America to be more open in trade and travel and less willing to isolate ourselves by building a military wall between us and everyone else. America didn't become isolationist until WW2. Our nation was definitively not isolationist prior to that. A nation can only be non-interventionist or isolationist. There is no other alternative.

That's the "no true Scotsman" logical fallacy. So long as we make excuses, nothing will get better.
We wouldn't have these problems if we didn't shirk our responsibility to educate our own children by subcontracting it out to the Government.

Of course they're back. We're giving them weapons in Syria.

The problem with conservatives is that they only act like conservatives until they get control of both chambers of Congress and the Presidency, then they suddenly become liberals.
