You voiced my worst nightmare.

My argument goes like this. Fate, due to corruption in the Federal Government over the years, has brought us a one party Government. A party that has locked the minority party out of any negotiations. Basically 50% of the people have no representation. Therefore, they have no choice but to represent themselves by building a majority that can influence the outcome of legislation they feel will do major damage to the country.

Thank God the Constitution gives us this first amendment right.

Besides, are we supposed to sit at home while the unions organize and protest and get everything they want.

I recently fixed a furnace for a woman who is on welfare. She didn't have the money to pay me. So much for trickle-up economics.

Even though I'm one of those hateful stingy Conservatives, I do charity work on occasion.

If trickle down doesn't work, what economic system would you embrace?

When obumer won and the dems took control of both the house and senate, they wept. This was going to be their time in history, the stars were aligned, promises were made and gifts were exchanged. It was time to attain their holy grail "Health Care".

I think the dem leadership will go "kamikaze" in a heartbeat. Their track record so far shows they will prostitute themselves and stomp on anyone who gets in their way. Hopefully some of them won't, but don't count on it.

This was all feathers and no chicken.

My point is about the people in office. The talking heads and pundits are what they are.

When a new president or congressman takes office, they now own the burden. They wanted the job for whatever reason, and to whine and cast blame is childish.

I expect more from elected officals.

That dog won't hunt. I never heard GWB blame Clinton for anything. He did stand on his hind legs like a real man and take charge. Besides, even with GWB's few shortcomings, Obama would'nt make wart on his a&s. And the economy didn't come apart until the dems took over in 2006.
