In the Washington Free Beacon, Adam Kredo is citing reports that America's ambassador to Egypt, Anne Patterson, didn't permit the Marines guarding the Embassy to carry live ammunition. That means they had no way to protect the Embassy, its personnel, or -- not incidentally! -- themselves.
No US official has yet responded. But if this is true, it indicates a serious lapse of judgment (and an absence of basic common sense) within the administration.
In days to come, if the media does its job, I suspect we will learn many things that will be hard to understand regarding US security in...
The first sentence of the article BY: Adam Kredo states: "U.S. Marines defending the American embassy in Egypt were not permitted by the State Department to carry live ammunition, limiting their ability to respond to attacks like those this week on the U.S. consulate in Cairo."
Check out the............."were not permitted by the State Department to carry live ammunition......". Well, in my estimation this statement ends w/our SOS, Hillary Clinton. The buck stops w/Hill.
It appears that, in the end, this Administration killed these Americans w/their PC bullcrap! Good grief, these poor folks were murdered simply because they could NOT, IN ANY WAY, DEFEND THEMSELVES.
