Is Middle East Peace a Mirage?

Hamas is well known for digging tunnels; there are miles of tunnels under their southern border between Gaza and Egypt. Both Tel Aviv and Jerusalem are about 45 miles. Iran is spending thier nations wealth to build a U-235 bomb with no conventional delivery system. Do you suppose that tunnels are that? Remember in WWII we used a Uranium bomb in war after only testing the Plutonium device. I hope someone else is thinking of this. A-bombs under Israel would quickly result in H-bombs over Muslims and Mecca would be in great danger.
Good article; things we need to think about. In twenty or thirty years, paying off the national debt will become unavoidable. The liberals will be remembered as cruel and selfish people who refused to live on what they earned and forced the government to take on this huge deft in order to buy their vote. We need to ask ourselves today if we want our posterity to hate us in that tomorrow?
It is inevitable that the liberals will be remembered as selfish, cruel people who refused to live on their income and demanded that the government take on this huge debt in order to buy their vote. A couple of generations from now when our descendents have no choice but to work at paying it off, Barack Obama will be remembered as the most evil for selling out this country so he could become President.

This is going to be OK. Obama's biggest problem was trying to govern after he had kicked all the rich people out of the economy. You can't do things with the economy if you are at war with those who have most of the money. They are working against him, of course. After Romney is elected the One Percenters will put their money and talent back into businesses and jobs. Rich people don't make money by themselves, they desperately need empoyees. The rest of us desperately need jobs!
I've had to take some correction on this. In Mark 3:30-35, Jesus is told that His family is outside and calling for Him. Then He states that those who do the will of God are His family. Although I have difference with some Mormon doctrines, they do many good works that are clearly the will of God. For other Christians to be critical, let them also do the good works...first.
First, thank you for your witness and testimony. In Old Testament times, the Israelites were sometimes duped into sacrificing their children (passing through the fire) to the fertility gods. This was supposed to insure that they would not be poor and hungry from failed crops and a dying herd, in contrast to trusting in the Lord God. This still goes on today; we call it abortion. Women are told that they will be poor and hungry if they do not sacrifice their children to the 'gods of this world'.

Interesting metaphors, but semantics are always a problem. Simply put, rich people don't make money by themselves. They desperately need employees to make money, and the rest of us desperately need jobs. So let's get together again and stop this fighting!
When Romney is elected, the One Percenters will return to the economy and we will be OK. Obama calls himself a 'Post Racism President' and I hope so. He is also a Reverse Racism President who has demonized and persecuted the people who could have helped with cash to invest and experience to operate bussinesses. Bad strategy and failed policy!
President Obama's greatest policy failure is his failure to use all of his assets. He positioned himself as champion of the working people against the wealthy who own the companies they work for. This got him elected but now he is trying to govern without the support of most of the successful people. When Romney and Ryan are elected the economy will turn around immediately. Before Thanksgiving, I think.

So why did the big crash come the week of Oct 13, 2008? Did it have something to do with the fact that all of the polsters predicted that Candidate Obama would be the next Presiddent a few days before? Did the panic that many predicted to happen the day after Inauguration happen instead on this news?

Thank you for this article. My conscience would not let me tell a woman that she should get an abortion because it would feel like I am telling her that society does not want another one of her. So isn't that a suggestion that society does not want her either? This could even be taken as a suggestion of suicide. Is compassion OK as long as we don't get carried away with it? Is it OK to have faith as long as it doesn't cause us to do something 'out of line'? Faith without works is dead.
